In the 3rdth minute of the game Antônio Carlos Bueno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Brasília FC's Sérgio Sabóia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The AF CERRADO fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when AF CERRADO's Antônio Carlos Bueno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Brasília FC's goalkeeper Sérgio Sabóia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Real Brasília FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Carlos Fernando de Azevedo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Real Brasília FC's Sérgio Sabóia got control of the ball when Antônio Carlos Bueno tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 12 played minutes Real Brasília FC got a freekick which was hit by Enerik Valencia. In the 14th minute, Antônio Carlos Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sérgio Sabóia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 17th minute. Murilo Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Antônio Carlos Bueno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sérgio Sabóia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Antônio Carlos Bueno did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Sérgio Sabóia 36 minutes into the match. After 44 minutes Real Brasília FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dennis Contaldi who took care of the corner kick. AF CERRADO's Dennis Contaldi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sérgio Sabóia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Antônio Carlos Bueno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Sérgio Sabóia made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antônio Carlos Bueno to make the kick off. Antônio Carlos Bueno took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sérgio Sabóia. Sérgio Sabóia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. AF CERRADO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
