Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandinho Albuquerque in the 6th minute of play. Selman Ruzi's late challenge caught a Karaboudjan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Selman Ruzi helped the player get up and apologised. Karaboudjan's Wilton de Amaral was substituted for Felippe Monteiro. After a rather tough play, Reko-Recko 03™'s Selman Ruzi got a free kick in the 10th minute. Wilton de Amaral made a great header on Karaboudjan's corner, it was just that Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva managed to reach the ball for a save. Marcelinho Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Trigo in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Reko-Recko 03™ booed when Karaboudjan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hao Feng Yu came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Reko-Recko 03™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hao Feng Yu couldn't finish the play. Fernandinho Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Karaboudjan's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano de Toledo came free, but Marcelinho Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelino Nueva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Reko-Recko 03™'s Virgílio Trigo got a free kick in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernandinho Albuquerque was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva got control of the ball when Fernandinho Albuquerque tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Reko-Recko 03™ from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, Virgílio Trigo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Karaboudjan's Marcelinho Abraão. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karaboudjan's goalkeeper Marcelinho Abraão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luizão Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Angelino Nueva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Karaboudjan got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Gomes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgílio Trigo in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelinho Abraão saved Karaboudjan from getting behind. Marcelinho Abraão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgílio Trigo's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selman Ruzi in the 78th minute of play forced Karaboudjan's goalkeeper Marcelinho Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 minutes, Mai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reko-Recko 03™ and the Karaboudjan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Reko-Recko 03™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mai to maneuver through the defense. Mai kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Karaboudjan's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio Trigo came free, but Marcelinho Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reko-Recko 03™ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Karaboudjan for a fine match.
