A sloppy throw-in by Cauan Fonseca in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by TAQUARI FC's Joakim Felin. Wilton Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilie Grecescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilton Vale ran back to his position shaking his head. Ilie Grecescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Vale in the 5th minute of the match. After 11 minutes of play, TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilie Grecescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilton Vale scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilie Grecescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilton Vale took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilie Grecescu. Ilie Grecescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ernani Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ilie Grecescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Vale in the 31st minute of play. After taking down the ball on TAQUARI FC's corner Joakim Felin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ilie Grecescu quite easily take care of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Pereira came free, but Rodolfo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Pereira in the 39th minute of play. After 41 minutes TAQUARI FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Naldo Schmidt who took care of the corner kick. 42 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gil Magalhães. In the 45th minute of the match Fireball Esporte Clube got a corner. TAQUARI FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Naldo Schmidt ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Fireball Esporte Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TAQUARI FC were winning 0-3.

Wilton Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Ilie Grecescu made a huge save. Rodolfo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Fireball Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Ilie Grecescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilton Vale. After a rather tough play, Fireball Esporte Clube's Umberto Godoi got a free kick in the 56th minute. Wilton Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilie Grecescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilton Vale ran back to his position shaking his head. Ilie Grecescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Vale in the 58th minute of the match. Wilton Vale's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Ilie Grecescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. TAQUARI FC's attentive Ernani Souto managed to snatch the ball when Cauan Fonseca made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. Ilie Grecescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilton Vale in the 69th minute. After 70 played minutes Fireball Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo de Lima. TAQUARI FC's Yoel Alfaro was substituted for Bernard Letourneau. In the 72nd minute, Bernardo de Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiaguinho Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fireball Esporte Clube's Ilie Grecescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilton Vale in the 89th minute of play. TAQUARI FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
