Marcelinho Abraão came out of the goal and Israel Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute Jens-Ove Malm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes Karaboudjan got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Oliveira. After a defensive mix-up in Karaboudjan's zone, Jens-Ove Malm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelinho Abraão came out of the goal and Jens-Ove Malm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Rio Verde F.C CIMZ getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Fabrício Vergílio hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Jens-Ove Malm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jens-Ove Malm kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelinho Abraão. That made the score 2-5 in the 94 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
