An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Di Luca in the 13th minute of play forced Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Panait Hațegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM-'s Manole Frunză nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Panait Hațegan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Adrian Mutu did an outstanding performance 98 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-4 to the right of an irritated Dacian Oravițan in the goal. FC ★C.ă.T.ă★-MM- played a much better game than Tractorul Satulung -MM- and deserved their victory. The Tractorul Satulung -MM- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
