Scorpions -MM-'s Avram Golescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gigi Gâgea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Costel Ţintă showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. A throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game was made by Mircea Năstase with Mihnea Saşca as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Emil Bărnuțiu's late challenge caught a CSC SIGHET -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emil Bărnuțiu helped the player get up and apologised. Emil Bărnuțiu kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 62 minutes, Andrei Mușătescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CSC SIGHET -MM- and the Scorpions -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gigi Gâgea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Ţintă in the 62nd minute of play. If Costel Ţintă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Costel Ţintă charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Costel Ţintă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Costel Ţintă got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Costel Ţintă hit a great ball. If Mugur Lupașcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tony Dobos in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigi Gâgea saved CSC SIGHET -MM- from getting behind. Tony Dobos hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. During the 95th minute of the match Emil Bărnuțiu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Emil Bărnuțiu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of CSC SIGHET -MM- booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Bărnuțiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
