Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mădălin Cangeopol started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Panait Hațegan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costel Ţintă. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mădălin Cangeopol in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Avram Golescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Panait Hațegan came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Scorpions -MM-'s Dan Tinu. But to his dismay, Dan Tinu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Avram Golescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Cangeopol in the 14th minute of the match. Mădălin Cangeopol scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Avram Golescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Panait Hațegan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Ţintă in the 19th minute of play. Wesley Sneijder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Octav Vătăşel hit a great ball. Avram Golescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mădălin Cangeopol's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 37th match minute, Scorpions -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornel Giuverdea to maneuver through the defense. When Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Mădălin Cangeopol in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scorpions -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 40th minute, Mădălin Cangeopol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cornel Giuverdea hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Costel Ţintă was the one to do the kick off. Cornel Giuverdea hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Avram Golescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mădălin Cangeopol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Marlon Brando managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cornel Giuverdea in the 53 minute of the game. Mădălin Cangeopol might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Avram Golescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mădălin Cangeopol ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Octav Vătăşel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scorpions -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Octav Vătăşel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panait Hațegan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Scorpions -MM-'s Augustin Vergulescu was substituted for Octav Vătăşel. Mădălin Cangeopol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Avram Golescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Costel Ţintă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 71 minutes, Augustin Vergulescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scorpions -MM- and the Tractorul Satulung -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mădălin Cangeopol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 76 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Cangeopol came free, but Avram Golescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costel Ţintă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Panait Hațegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panait Hațegan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costel Ţintă's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Scorpions -MM-'s Cornel Giuverdea got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Wesley Sneijder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Scorpions -MM-'s Avram Golescu got control of the ball when Adrian Mutu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Scorpions -MM- could leave the field as winners, despite Tractorul Satulung -MM- having more of the ball for most of the match.
