Ernest Cazimir had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Aurel Teodoroiu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 15th minute when Nicolae Bosioc elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Bosioc in the 31st minute of play forced Simared -MM-'s goalkeeper Ernest Cazimir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Simared -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aurelian Odobescu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Aurelian Odobescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Ernest Cazimir despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 33 minutes, Horaţiu Pintilie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC PIETROSUL -MM- and the Simared -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC PIETROSUL -MM- getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Horaţiu Pintilie hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Simared -MM-'s Niculae Rădvan threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gheorghe Şerbănoiu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ernest Cazimir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horaţiu Pintilie in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Pintilie in the 38th minute of play forced Simared -MM-'s goalkeeper Ernest Cazimir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolae Bosioc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Simared -MM-'s Emanuel Chirea got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Simared -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Teodoroiu came free, but Ernest Cazimir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC PIETROSUL -MM- eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
