A collision led to Cormoranii -MM- getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Valer Uduleanu hit a great ball. If Sami Zübeyr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Sami Zübeyr put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dino Zoff. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Cormoranii -MM- booed when FC Maci -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Miclauș didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes, Cormoranii -MM-'s Marcel Vulpe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tristan Falco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cormoranii -MM- reached it. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sami Zübeyr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sami Zübeyr in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dino Zoff saved Cormoranii -MM- from getting behind. FC Maci -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vlad Mavrogheni in the 25th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Sabin Miclauș advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Sami Zübeyr cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dino Zoff was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Maci -MM-'s Tristan Falco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Maci -MM- from getting a goal against them. Valer Uduleanu took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tristan Falco. Tristan Falco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 39 minutes into the game, FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dino Zoff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 43rd minute, Sami Zübeyr made a precise shot to the right of Dino Zoff. Cormoranii -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Valer Uduleanu made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dino Zoff. That made the score 1-6 after 51 minutes of play. After 55 minutes, Emanuel Petruescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Maci -MM- and the Cormoranii -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. 57 minutes into the game, Valer Uduleanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Tristan Falco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dino Zoff was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Sami Zübeyr capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sami Zübeyr really showed his touch with that goal: 2-7. Dino Zoff made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Sami Zübeyr sent off a good shot on target. FC Maci -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anatoly Karpov in the 68th minute. A nice corner shot did that Anatoly Karpov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dino Zoff quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 72 minutes into the game, Vintilă Hălmăgeanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cormoranii -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Maci -MM- the free kick. The supporters of FC Maci -MM- booed when Cormoranii -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Hălmăgeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Zoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Sami Zübeyr reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dino Zoff. The goal made the score 2-8. With a little luck, Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff got control of the ball when Sami Zübeyr tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr made it 2-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dino Zoff was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dino Zoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabin Miclauș in the 87th minute. Dino Zoff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sami Zübeyr went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-10 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute, Magnus Carlsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magnus Carlsen kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Marcel Vulpe struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Tristan Falco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cormoranii -MM-. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
