Dieter Nisipeanu went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Maci -MM-'s corner Dieter Nisipeanu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nistor Maghiar quite easily take care of the ball. When FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. Allan Shearer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Tristan Falco made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Shearer in the 28th minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Tristan Falco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Maci -MM-'s Tristan Falco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Allan Shearer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nistor Maghiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 51st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciprian Alexe in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tristan Falco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Octavian Gaciu replaced Martin Costeiantu. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Dudu Georgescu was substituted for Allan Shearer. 71 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Felix Ferenț came free, but Tristan Falco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Maci -MM-'s Tristan Falco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Ferenț in the 71st minute of play. Tristan Falco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Şantău in the 74th minute of play. Nistor Maghiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 79th minute. In the 93rd minute, Sami Zübeyr left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Maci -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. FC Maci -MM-'s Anatoly Karpov was substituted for Igor Czapski. The Minerul Baita -MM- supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Maci -MM-'s performance. The match ended with a win for FC Maci -MM-.
