After 14 played minutes Cormoranii -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Valer Uduleanu. 16 minutes into the game, Eusebiu Godeanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cormoranii -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Psihopel BM-MM- the free kick. The supporters of FC Psihopel BM-MM- booed when Cormoranii -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebiu Godeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juancho Bonachea in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Radu Geangu came free, but Dino Zoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Cormoranii -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Boldur. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Diculescu in the 23rd minute of play. Dino Zoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radu Geangu in the 24th minute of the match. Cormoranii -MM-'s attentive Nils-Åke Nyström managed to snatch the ball when Petre Bâru made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. Cormoranii -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcel Vulpe in the 34th minute. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juancho Bonachea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valer Uduleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dino Zoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juancho Bonachea, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Dino Zoff came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Psihopel BM-MM-'s Juancho Bonachea. But to his dismay, Juancho Bonachea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 44th minute Radu Geangu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juancho Bonachea to make the kick off. Eusebiu Godeanu hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juancho Bonachea in the 51st minute of play. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Cormoranii -MM- from getting a goal against them. Dino Zoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juancho Bonachea in the 61st minute. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Geangu in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radu Geangu in the 87th minute of play forced Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Dino Zoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Radu Geangu came free, but Dino Zoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Geangu in the 88th minute of play. Radu Geangu kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. FC Psihopel BM-MM- played a much better game than Cormoranii -MM- and deserved their victory. The Cormoranii -MM- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
