Rosario Central's Alvaro Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Lano in the 9th minute of play. Alvaro Urre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Espadas in the 14th minute of the match. Alvaro Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 17th minute of play. Alvaro Urre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Espadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st play minute Zézinho Neiva came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alvaro Urre. 2-0. Alvaro Urre came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas. But to his dismay, Adrián Espadas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Soroca F.C.'s Hernan Lano got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Placido Gartzea came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Gartzea in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goalkeeper Alvaro Urre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amador Venceslao. Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 42nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Egoi made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Adrián Espadas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Urre was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Soroca F.C.'s Cosme Jaen was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Txartiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Răzvan Necula in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Urre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute of the match Soroca F.C. got a corner. Rosario Central's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zézinho Neiva ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Cosme Jaen got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Cosme Jaen got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Soroca F.C.. Rosario Central's Alvaro Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Necula in the 86th minute of play. Alvaro Urre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Necula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes of play, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. There was no doubt that Soroca F.C. were the better team. Soroca F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
