The Crottos Crotters F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Mercurio should have stopped the shot. Freddy Mercurio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gimnasia y tiro. When Dong Jian Yang came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Gimnasia y tiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dong Jian Yang couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
