Kang Ying Hai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Tabb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KaoS Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after ..Villa Rugby Club..'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lluis Companys took the corner. 29 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's Igor Lebas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kang Ying Hai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ramon Chus fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KaoS Futbol Club's protests and gave Ramon Chus a yellow card for diving instead. Pierluigi Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikolaj Giertych in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Perez in the 74th minute of play forced KaoS Futbol Club's goalkeeper Pierluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute of the match ..Villa Rugby Club.. got a corner. KaoS Futbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agustin Gartzen ran over to the corner to take the kick.
