After 28 minutes of play, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnulfo Kinsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriele Batistuta was the one to do the kick off. Camilo Salvidor came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Laurita FC's Mario Alberto Kempes.
