The Aves Negras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 14 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's goal looked a bit too open when Koča Kafarov came free, but Marcial Bakar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Aves Negras's Guter Tobia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lu Zhen Sheng. That made the score 2-1 after 15 minutes of play. In the 21st minute Aves Negras were awarded a corner. Enrique Perico went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of DREAM TEAM WORLD booed when Aves Negras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Perico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Guter Tobia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lu Zhen Sheng was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koča Kafarov in the 35th minute of play forced Aves Negras's goalkeeper Marcial Bakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Bakar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koča Kafarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guter Tobia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lu Zhen Sheng having to make a save. Lu Zhen Sheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guter Tobia in the 42nd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

DREAM TEAM WORLD's Elpidio Curcio was substituted for Jonathan Otto. Aves Negras's Cao Chen Yu was substituted for Humberto Urtsin. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Paulo Jon replaced Zachariasz Psotka. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guter Tobia to make the kick off.
