Equipo's Harun Elçin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, FC Devils's Tobiasz Orszak got a free kick in the 16th minute. Ismael Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Brysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Equipo's Ismael Furman got control of the ball when Viktoras Rurin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Equipo's Ronaldo Cristi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Boruc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Viktoras Rurin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Devils's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Equipo the free kick. A collision led to FC Devils getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Viktoras Rurin hit a great ball. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Lluterio in the 37th minute of play. In the 47th minute Pietro Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC Devils players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Equipo were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo Cristi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ismael Furman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktoras Rurin in the 55th minute of the match. Ismael Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktoras Rurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 minutes Equipo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amado Gilabert who took care of the corner kick. Lüder Maßberg made in the 63rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dariusz Brysz. In the 67th minute Ronaldo Cristi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Cristi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktoras Rurin in the 77th minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Ismael Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Equipo defense, Viktoras Rurin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Furman. The Equipo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Furman should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Léo Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Cristi in the 91st minute of the match. Lüder Maßberg hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
