In the 5thth minute of the game Luo Wei Xi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Buceo's Máximo Correia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Luo Wei Xi came free, but Máximo Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Jakue came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Jakue in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Boruc saved Joga Bonito from getting behind. Sporting Buceo were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Joga Bonito's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yao Yan Sen took the corner. Sporting Buceo's Yao Yan Sen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Artur Boruc in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sporting Buceo's Máximo Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Symons in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the Joga Bonito defense, Isaias Jakue kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Boruc. The Joga Bonito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Boruc should have stopped the shot. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Jakue in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Isaias Jakue notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc. Artur Boruc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Artur Boruc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaias Jakue's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Isaias Jakue recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 minutes of play, Sporting Buceo's Isaias Jakue made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artur Boruc was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaias Jakue to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Isaias Jakue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute Sporting Buceo were awarded a corner. Yao Yan Sen went to the cornerflag to take it. Isaias Jakue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Boruc having to interfere. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Jakue in the 58th minute of the match. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Joga Bonito's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xinto Carreiras was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Buceo's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Xinto Carreiras almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc did a great save. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xinto Carreiras in the 74th minute of play. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xinto Carreiras in the 78th minute of the match. Herbert Literski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Máximo Correia made a huge save. Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xinto Carreiras in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Tobiasz Henryk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xinto Carreiras in the 90th minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charly Good struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Artur Boruc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Buceo. For all the effort they put into the match, the Joga Bonito players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sporting Buceo.
