Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Lewandowski in the 4th minute of play. After 6 played minutes SMOCZANKA MIELEC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Malafaia. After a rather tough play, FC Devils's Ali Kağan Oğuzalp got a free kick in the 7th minute. 11 minutes into the match, FC Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Giraldo came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dariusz Brysz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roch Grondzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Oscar Giraldo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Olaf Karpinski charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olaf Karpinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Olaf Karpinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Cezary Chrzan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Devils. 30 minutes into the match, FC Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Giraldo came free, but Artur Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Wassenius helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes SMOCZANKA MIELEC got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Wassenius. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Sylwester Klimkiewicz was substituted for Cezary Chrzan. The supporters of FC Devils booed when SMOCZANKA MIELEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Wassenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Giraldo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Boruc having to make a save. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Giraldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
