Dariusz Brysz started the match with the kick off. FC Devils's attentive Lüder Maßberg managed to snatch the ball when Albert Balcan made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind GÓRNIK PSZÓW's goalkeeper Juan Luis Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Majewski got free with Artur Boruc in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to GÓRNIK PSZÓW getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Albert Balcan hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, Ali Kağan Oğuzalp threw the ball into play from the sideline. GÓRNIK PSZÓW's Vincente Polledo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Damian Majewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. GÓRNIK PSZÓW's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Majewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Boruc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damian Majewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Artur Boruc made a huge save. In the 22nd match minute, FC Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Tomaszewski to maneuver through the defense. FC Devils's Artur Boruc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save FC Devils from getting a goal against them. Juan Luis Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Brysz in the 29th minute of the match. GÓRNIK PSZÓW's Damian Majewski got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Majewski in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Boruc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Elvin Sexton came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the GÓRNIK PSZÓW fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvin Sexton couldn't finish the play. If Damian Majewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Brysz in the 46th minute of play forced GÓRNIK PSZÓW's goalkeeper Juan Luis Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Damian Majewski made the kick off in the second half. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvin Sexton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lüder Maßberg made in the 67th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tobiasz Orszak however managed to control. Lüder Maßberg made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by GÓRNIK PSZÓW's Yan Yu Yun. GÓRNIK PSZÓW's Juan Luis Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Brysz in the 74th minute of play. FC Devils were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after GÓRNIK PSZÓW's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Viktoras Rurin took the corner. After a rather tough play, FC Devils's Olaf Karpinski got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Rangel Parashkevov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marek Slazak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Boruc having to make a save. In the 79th minute Marek Slazak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes GÓRNIK PSZÓW got a freekick which was hit by Marek Slazak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktoras Rurin in the 85th minute of play forced GÓRNIK PSZÓW's goalkeeper Juan Luis Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Boruc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Majewski's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
