Rafineria Jasło's Konstanty Brzęczyszczykiewicz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebastian Winszman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sebastian Winszman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislaw Walczak in the 10th minute of play. Modlau's Sebastian Winszman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Modlau from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute Jarmo Laik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Tusk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Rafineria Jasło's Stanislaw Walczak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Winszman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Rafineria Jasło getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Zula Wejta hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Modlau's zone, Yavuz Bülent İlkim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Winszman came out of the goal and Yavuz Bülent İlkim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barry McCray to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Wejta came free, but Sebastian Winszman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
