Pogoń1945Staszów's Pontus Sellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarmo Laik in the 8th minute of play. Sebastian Winszman came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pogoń1945Staszów's Damazy Tscherner. But to his dismay, Damazy Tscherner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Pontus Sellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ortle Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Jakub Kuszczak came free, but Sebastian Winszman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modlau's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Barry McCray in the 36th minute. After 39 played minutes Pogoń1945Staszów got a freekick which was hit by Wincent Pryla. Pogoń1945Staszów's Pontus Sellberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Pogoń1945Staszów from getting a goal against them. After 44 minutes of play, Modlau's Barry McCray made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pontus Sellberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

If Giorgos Psichogiopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Winszman made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Edmund Zajonc sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, Modlau's goalkeeper Sebastian Winszman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giorgos Psichogiopoulos. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Modlau fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pogoń1945Staszów had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
