C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Betinho Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Cavalera in the 14th minute of play. Sid Lampard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjørn Trondsen in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Cavalera in the 28th minute of play forced C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goalkeeper Betinho Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alysson Rezende was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sid Lampard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Ogro F.C. from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Ortle made a kick off. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Walter Tufan was substituted for Torbjørn Trondsen. Walter Tufan struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Alysson Rezende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.. Jerônimo Vergílio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Betinho Moura made a huge save. Ogro F.C.'s Dan Zimmermann was substituted for Nicko McBrain. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Gustavo Henrique was substituted for Jailson Vander. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The supporters of Ogro F.C. booed when C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomil Prusinowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Dan Zimmermann scored to the left of an out of position Betinho Moura, making the score, 2-2. Despite being the better team, Ogro F.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
