An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerônimo Vergílio in the 25th minute of play forced Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Iker Hidalgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Naldo Guerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Velho Barreiro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ogro F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Velho Barreiro FC's Naldo Guerra got a free kick in the 27th minute. Iker Hidalgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Cavalera in the 28th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Igor Cavalera sped through Velho Barreiro FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iker Hidalgo. In the 39th minute Igor Cavalera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Cavalera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Hidalgo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iker Hidalgo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Velho Barreiro FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ogro F.C. were winning 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Gaúcho to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Horácio Jacinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Velho Barreiro FC and the Ogro F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Igor Cavalera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Iker Hidalgo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Cavalera. 59 minutes into the game, Igor Cavalera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iker Hidalgo. Igor Cavalera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 66 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Gaúcho came free, but Alysson Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo got control of the ball when Igor Cavalera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ogro F.C.'s Dan Zimmermann was substituted for Nicko McBrain. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Velho Barreiro FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jerônimo Vergílio was slow to take the kick. During this time Ogro F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Mike Mangini was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 72nd match minute, Velho Barreiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milcho Rakov to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Dan Zimmermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Hidalgo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dan Zimmermann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 75 minute of play. In the 79th minute, Igor Cavalera reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Iker Hidalgo. The goal made the score 0-8. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Marco Minnemann replaced Igor Cavalera. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Zimmermann in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iker Hidalgo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iker Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Minnemann, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. A hard shot 93 in the game by Marco Minnemann from a close distance when the talented Iker Hidalgo managed to make a qualified save. Velho Barreiro FC's players were relieved. Iker Hidalgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Zimmermann in the 95th minute of the match. The Velho Barreiro FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ogro F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
