With an all-out effort, Tormenta EC's Nico Tasso threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Magno Garcia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Osvaldinho Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Demaria was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldinho Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Celso de Queirós threw the ball into play from the sideline. Encanto's Bernardinho Paes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Bernard Dyczkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Tasso having to interfere. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Encanto's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celso de Queirós was slow to take the kick. During this time Tormenta EC's players had a chance to rest. In the 83rd minute Beto França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Tormenta EC got a corner. Encanto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celso de Queirós ran over to the corner to take the kick. Celso de Queirós made a great header on Tormenta EC's corner, it was just that Encanto's Nico Tasso managed to reach the ball for a save. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
