CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA from getting a goal against them. SANFINS VLP's David Prada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero da Costa in the 11th minute of play. David Prada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero da Costa in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arí Machado in the 16th minute of play forced SANFINS VLP's goalkeeper David Prada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wojciech Wojno in the 17th minute of play. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Quental in the 18th minute of play. After 23 minutes CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Harry Meikleham who took care of the corner kick. Harry Meikleham made a great header on SANFINS VLP's corner, it was just that CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the SANFINS VLP defense, Arí Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Prada. The SANFINS VLP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Prada should have stopped the shot. After 42 minutes, Adriano Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SANFINS VLP and the CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SANFINS VLP's Adriano Garcia got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

The wind increased when Eduardo Viana made the kick off in the second half. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Viana in the 54th minute of play. Yanick Coremans scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Amor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
