The referee ignored Galo do Japi's protests and gave Cauan Catarinense a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute of the match Galo do Japi got a corner. Mestre GG's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cafu Ringaa ran over to the corner to take the kick. 21 minutes into the match, Carlos Santana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigiusz Paciuszko. Mestre GG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Santana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ronaldo Giovanelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorginho Garcia in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boguslaw Makarewicz in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldo Giovanelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Galo do Japi's Paulo Renato Saraiva got a free kick in the 37th minute. Galo do Japi's Cléberson Lara managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wilton do Valle in the 38 minute of the game. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Benson Beverley sent off a good shot on target. Remigiusz Paciuszko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Santana in the 44th minute of the match. Galo do Japi's attentive Cléberson Lara managed to snatch the ball when Wilton do Valle made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Garcia in the 51st minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldo Giovanelli didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mestre GG's Boguslaw Makarewicz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Mestre GG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gino Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cafu Ringaa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronaldo Giovanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benson Beverley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldo Giovanelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benson Beverley in the 81st minute of the match. The supporters of Mestre GG booed when Galo do Japi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléberson Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball.
