Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Santana started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Carlos Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cléberson Lara hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Carlos Santana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guilherme Hermes was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Carlos Santana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guilherme Hermes. Desportivo Coala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Santana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Guilherme Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Santana in the 19th minute of the match. Desportivo Coala's Guilherme Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Renato Saraiva in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Paulo Renato Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galo do Japi's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Renato Saraiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guilherme Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Desportivo Coala's Adhemar Tinoco got a free kick in the 27th minute. Carlos Santana took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guilherme Hermes. Guilherme Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Guilherme Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adhemar Tinoco made in the 40th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ricardo Netto however managed to control. Carlos Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guilherme Hermes having to make a save. Guilherme Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guilherme Hermes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Cauan Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galo do Japi's supporters rose to their feet, but Cauan Catarinense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guilherme Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marinho Maringá made a kick off. Adhemar Tinoco hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Guilherme Hermes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-7. Carlos Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guilherme Hermes having to make a save. In the 57th match minute, Desportivo Coala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Santana took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guilherme Hermes. Guilherme Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Carlos Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guilherme Hermes having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Santana got free with Guilherme Hermes in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guilherme Hermes having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Santana in the 74th minute of play forced Desportivo Coala's goalkeeper Guilherme Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Desportivo Coala's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paulo Renato Saraiva fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 80 minutes into the game, Carlos Santana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Guilherme Hermes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guilherme Hermes came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana. But to his dismay, Carlos Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. Guilherme Hermes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Santana's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Desportivo Coala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhemar Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute of the match, Carlos Santana tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guilherme Hermes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 92 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coala's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Santana came free, but Guilherme Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marinho Maringá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
