Zhang Chang Yang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cauan Catarinense during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. S.C. Ferrari's Zhang Chang Yang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Renato Saraiva in the 17th minute of play. Ronaldo Giovanelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gergely Bollobás, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 22 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Saraiva. Eriberto de Souza lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Galo do Japi:s Ronaldo Giovanelli showed great skill when he stopped Gergely Bollobás:s penalty. The excitement rose when S.C. Ferrari's Gergely Bollobás after 39 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Galo do Japi's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cléberson Lara got free with Zhang Chang Yang in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Furo Furenbrink made a kick off. The Galo do Japi fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Galo do Japi's Paulo Renato Saraiva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Giovanelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Galo do Japi from getting a goal against them. Ronaldo Giovanelli was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Furo Furenbrink capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Furo Furenbrink really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Galo do Japi's Sokratis Krak was substituted for Paulo Renato Saraiva. 77 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gergely Bollobás. S.C. Ferrari's Zhang Chang Yang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sokratis Krak in the 80th minute of play. If Sokratis Krak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Furo Furenbrink in the 91st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. S.C. Ferrari's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
