The corner went over the outstretched arms of Desportivo Coala's goalie and right to Nilton Brito. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Desportivo Coala's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. But to his dismay, Boguslaw Makarewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When Boguslaw Makarewicz came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Mestre GG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boguslaw Makarewicz couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Dewey Crocker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boguslaw Makarewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Orlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boguslaw Makarewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Mestre GG's Boguslaw Makarewicz in the 62nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Christian Orlan was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Desportivo Coala through an amazing save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorginho Garcia got free with Christian Orlan in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boguslaw Makarewicz in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Orlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mestre GG's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Álvaro Paraíba in the 69th minute.
