When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Cascajares made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Arí Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Vester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Ardwyad Vulcan to fire away a dangerous shot which Eskil Vester despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Cascajares got free with Melquiades Amor in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58thth minute of the game Arí Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but October 04's Eskil Vester was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. October 04's Waldemar de Sena was substituted for Claudinei Custódio. October 04's Fellipe Valle was substituted for Emilio Cascajares. October 04's Luís Paulo Pernambucano was substituted for Luís Fabiano Gaspar. Fellipe Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. October 04's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Horácio Aguiar in the 79th minute. Fellipe Valle might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Amor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fellipe Valle ran back to his position shaking his head. Melquiades Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Felippe Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Felippe Paranaense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eskil Vester breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arí Machado took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eskil Vester. Eskil Vester dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The supporters of October 04 booed when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Bambas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Luís Paulo Pernambucano made a precise shot to the right of Melquiades Amor. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3.
