Que se abra o mar's Sandro Tepedino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Que se abra o mar from getting a goal against them. Ronalds McDonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Sandro Tepedino made a huge save. Albertinho Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albertinho Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ronalds McDonald had several of the Que se abra o mar's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Sandro Tepedino as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sandro Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronalds McDonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Narciso Paulista made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Que se abra o mar's Luisão Toscano. If Ronalds McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes in the game Teofil Sidorowicz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marián De Bruyne. Ivar Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tato Vega stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tato Vega got free with Astor Hug in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tato Vega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Astor Hug made a huge save. Ronalds McDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Tepedino having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Que se abra o mar's Noel Perez got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Que se abra o mar's zone, Gilvan Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Tepedino came out of the goal and Gilvan Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute of the game Narciso Paulista made a throw-in which Ronalds McDonald played forward. Bebeto Pimenta hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Desportivo Coala made a substitution. Ramachandramurthy Van Dijk replaced Rodrigo Alcântara. After a rather tough play, Que se abra o mar's Bebeto Pimenta got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute Narciso Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronalds McDonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ronalds McDonald sped through Que se abra o mar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sandro Tepedino. When Desportivo Coala's Ronalds McDonald in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Que se abra o mar's Sandro Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronalds McDonald in the 92nd minute of play. When Hayrullah Atikoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Que se abra o mar's protests and gave Hayrullah Atikoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, Que se abra o mar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayrullah Atikoğlu to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Desportivo Coala players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
