A sloppy throw-in by Váldson Arruda in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galo do Japi's Cléberson Lara. In the 4th minute, Zeca Caca-Rato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldo Giovanelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Severo in the 9th minute of the match. Bernardo Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Santana's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Gergely Bollobás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Giovanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gergely Bollobás in the 14th minute of play. Cauan Catarinense hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Coronel Salgado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ronaldo Giovanelli made a huge save. Ronaldo Giovanelli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Acácio de Andrade showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Dorian Severo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ronaldo Giovanelli. That made the score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. After a rather tough play, S.C. Ferrari's Konrad Söderberg got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Santana in the 40th minute of play forced S.C. Ferrari's goalkeeper Bernardo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Bernardo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute of the game Váldson Arruda made a throw-in which Dorian Severo played forward. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Dorian Severo sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 55th minute Dorian Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Giovanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cléberson Lara's late challenge caught a S.C. Ferrari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cléberson Lara helped the player get up and apologised. Cléberson Lara hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute Gergely Bollobás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Giovanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gergely Bollobás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Giovanelli having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergely Bollobás in the 72nd minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lu Bing Yin made in the 73rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gergely Bollobás immediately put the ball in play. Ronaldo Giovanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Söderqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes Galo do Japi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Acácio de Andrade who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Gergely Bollobás managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 89 minutes into the game, S.C. Ferrari's Tord Söderqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. S.C. Ferrari fully deserved thier win.
