A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Wilton do Valle hit a great ball. In the 4th minute Eduardo Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigiusz Paciuszko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SANFINS VLP booed when Mestre GG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mestre GG's Boguslaw Makarewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Prada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boguslaw Makarewicz went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boguslaw Makarewicz in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Prada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, SANFINS VLP's goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Makarewicz came free, but David Prada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Boguslaw Makarewicz made a precise shot to the right of David Prada. SANFINS VLP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 23 minutes into the match, SANFINS VLP's goal looked a bit too open when Benson Beverley came free, but David Prada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Valadares in the 25th minute of play forced Mestre GG's goalkeeper Remigiusz Paciuszko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Viana made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, David Prada successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mestre GG's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Álvaro Paraíba in the 63rd minute. Álvaro Paraíba made a great header on Mestre GG's corner, it was just that SANFINS VLP's David Prada managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 80th minute Wojciech Wojno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigiusz Paciuszko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Yanick Coremans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SANFINS VLP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Benson Beverley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. David Prada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benson Beverley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but David Prada made a huge save. Boguslaw Makarewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Lourenço Candal kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SANFINS VLP's zone, Boguslaw Makarewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Prada came out of the goal and Boguslaw Makarewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mestre GG had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
