He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GLADIADORES reached it. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Andrade in the 13th minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedito Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Andrade in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Thomas Ravelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fábio da Cunha. 20 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Andrade came free, but Benedito Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, GLADIADORES's Thomas Ravelli got control of the ball when Yu Yang Sang tried to sneak it across the goal line. GLADIADORES were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Sagarana Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Johannes Stein took the corner. Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Andrade in the 40th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fábio da Cunha got free with Thomas Ravelli in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Catarinense during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to GLADIADORES getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Marcel Catarinense hit a great ball.

Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Andrade in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Sagarana Clube getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Zé Roberto da Costa hit a great ball. Benedito Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, GLADIADORES's Batu Cem Ekinci got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, Wilson Andrade made a precise shot to the right of Benedito Trigo. Sagarana Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Wilson Andrade took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedito Trigo. Benedito Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. GLADIADORES's Anacleto Rozarius was substituted for Wilson Andrade. Beto Heidemann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Ravelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Benedito Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anacleto Rozarius in the 85th minute. Sagarana Clube were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after GLADIADORES's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Beto Heidemann took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Beto Heidemann got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thomas Ravelli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anacleto Rozarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Benedito Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chants of GLADIADORES echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Sagarana Clube had held the ball for most of the match.
