A collision led to Sagarana Clube getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Rupert Dearden hit a great ball. In the 3rd minute Andy Cole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Floresta Negra FC were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Sagarana Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lokon Pøhl took the corner. The corner led Floresta Negra FC's Clemente Moura to fire away a dangerous shot which Benedito Trigo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Benedito Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Cole, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute Andy Cole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Floresta Negra FC were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Sagarana Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lokon Pøhl took the corner. The corner ended in Lokon Pøhl almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo did a great save. In the 11th minute, Andy Cole left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta Negra FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Andy Cole took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedito Trigo. Benedito Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yu Yang Sang got free with Egun Pais in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute of the game Rupert Dearden made a throw-in which Yu Yang Sang played forward. If Alexsandro Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Hoffmann in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Floresta Negra FC booed when Sagarana Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Dearden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yu Yang Sang came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Egun Pais could save by the left post. 44 minutes into the game, Rupert Dearden threw the ball into play from the sideline. Floresta Negra FC's Clemente Moura quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andy Cole to strike the kick off in the second half. Benedito Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Mandrak in the 51st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andy Cole in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedito Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andy Cole got free with Benedito Trigo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andy Cole recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Cole came free, but Benedito Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Andy Cole managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floresta Negra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Cole was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedito Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Lewandowski in the 67th minute of play. Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Floresta Negra FC were furious when Hector Bazkoare was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Sagarana Clube's Fabrício de Alcântara was substituted for Zé Roberto da Costa. Hector Bazkoare kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Egun Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Barros in the 74th minute of the match. Egun Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Yang Sang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Fábio da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egun Pais was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jardel Lewandowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 minutes of play, Sagarana Clube's Bruno Salles made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egun Pais was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the match, Floresta Negra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Yang Sang came free, but Egun Pais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Floresta Negra FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
