Harm de Freitas started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Poetass FC's Kalle Billberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matei Răducu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. José Maria Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harm de Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MarquinhosEC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabriel Martini in the 9th minute. The corner led MarquinhosEC's Gabriel Martini to fire away a dangerous shot which José Maria Goiano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 10th minute Zeng Xu Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Răducu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Poetass FC were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after MarquinhosEC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jon-Egil Schjelderup took the corner. The corner led Poetass FC's Jon-Egil Schjelderup to fire away a dangerous shot which Matei Răducu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to MarquinhosEC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Fausto Di Blasio hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goal looked a bit too open when Kalle Billberg came free, but Matei Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes MarquinhosEC got a freekick which was hit by Barrie Deacon. If Fausto Di Blasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeng Xu Yuan in the 24th minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Matei Răducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barrie Deacon kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Barrie Deacon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Goiano having to interfere. MarquinhosEC's Matei Răducu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Xu Yuan in the 28th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Bronicki came free, but Matei Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Di Blasio in the 42nd minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper José Maria Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Fausto Di Blasio managed to get in a good position for a shot. MarquinhosEC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Di Blasio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Maria Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The MarquinhosEC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Poetass FC were winning 0-1.

Matei Răducu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalle Billberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Luiz Fernando de Lara in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MarquinhosEC's Barrie Deacon. In the 57th match minute, MarquinhosEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Curt Montes to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, MarquinhosEC's Matei Răducu got control of the ball when Zeng Xu Yuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Matei Răducu managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Poetass FC's Kalle Billberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. José Maria Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro do Valle in the 70th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Poetass FC's Matei Răducu threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kalle Billberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kalle Billberg charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kalle Billberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Poetass FC got a freekick which was hit by Kalle Billberg. Poetass FC's Cleiton Carioca was substituted for Witold Bronicki. Poetass FC made a substitution. Witalis Brysz replaced Kalle Billberg. MarquinhosEC's Inácio Freitas was substituted for Alessandro do Valle. A collision led to Poetass FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Kalle Billberg hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inácio Freitas in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Maria Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matei Răducu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon-Egil Schjelderup in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Brysz in the 83rd minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Matei Răducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matei Răducu made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Witalis Brysz sent off a good shot on target. José Maria Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Freitas in the 94th minute of the match. Poetass FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
