The referee ignored BRASIL.Sp's protests and gave Eriberto Arruda a yellow card for diving instead. Luís Guilherme Marques was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Augusto Stephen. Fagondo Vasquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eduardo Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fagondo Vasquez made a kick off. BRASIL.Sp's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
