When Donato Marques fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BMB IMOVEIS SC's protests and gave Donato Marques a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BMB IMOVEIS SC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Donato Marques hit a great ball. In the 71stth minute of the game Ricki Dresager who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ricki Dresager who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Sérgio de Azevedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Cactos fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Cactos's Ricki Dresager looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Cactos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cactos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
