Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Granadero10 from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Silva got free with Alfredinho Cavalcante in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute Fredrik Masculier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tana Rede in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremy Nicholas saved New England Minas from getting behind. Vítor Antunes's late challenge caught a New England Minas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vítor Antunes helped the player get up and apologised. The long shot by Glen Conklin in the 28th minute really tested Alfredinho Cavalcante's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Masculier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Masculier came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Vítor Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermínio Ferreira hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The Granadero10 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Granadero10 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
