After 30 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by Evripidis Picoulas. After a rather tough play, Bene Animatus's Yan Rezende got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Vitório Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot. The audience was convinced that Jardel Velloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Allan Varela was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game.
