Jens-Ove Malm started the match with the kick off. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 3rd minute of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Jens-Ove Malm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Ove Malm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Jens-Ove Malm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Ove Malm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremy Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Israel Vidal hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute António Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Jens-Ove Malm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Edgardo Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute, Mitchel Bakker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Edgardo Silva made a precise shot to the right of Amauri Félix. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Di Yang Feng in the 29th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcos Siqueira in the 30th minute. It was a well-played corner which Birol Celilay managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Tony Pacheco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Amauri Félix made a huge save. Amauri Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silva in the 33rd minute of play. New England Minas were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Glen Conklin took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Glen Conklin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amauri Félix quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Mitchel Bakker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute Jens-Ove Malm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when António Nóbrega came free, but Amauri Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Mitchel Bakker got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Malm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute of the match Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a corner. New England Minas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcos Siqueira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Marcos Siqueira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jeremy Nicholas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Antonio Valente hit a great ball. New England Minas made a substitution. Tio Lio replaced Edgardo Silva. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Tolgahan Onatkan was substituted for Marcos Siqueira. Amauri Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tio Lio, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 75th minute, Tio Lio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amauri Félix was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Amauri Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Pacheco in the 78th minute of the match. Mitchel Bakker hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Jens-Ove Malm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amauri Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tio Lio, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After 95 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Nordmark. New England Minas's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
