The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valdomiro de Godoi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfredinho Cavalcante firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Masculier in the 5th minute of play forced Romando Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro de Godoi in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute Tana Rede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermínio Ferreira made in the 23rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fredrik Masculier. A collision led to Romando Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lino Valle hit a great ball. Alfredinho Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro de Godoi in the 29th minute of play. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tana Rede in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Granadero10's Hermínio Ferreira got a free kick in the 31st minute. Valdomiro de Godoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredinho Cavalcante having to make a save. Alfredinho Cavalcante made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Valdomiro de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. Valdomiro de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 35 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goalkeeper Alfredinho Cavalcante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdomiro de Godoi. With his leg Alfredinho Cavalcante managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Romando Futebol Clube's Valdomiro de Godoi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdomiro de Godoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Hermínio Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Hermínio Ferreira hit a great ball. In the 61st match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Antunes to maneuver through the defense. Durval Mendes hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Granadero10's zone, Niva Bellido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredinho Cavalcante came out of the goal and Niva Bellido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. Granadero10's Norberto Simão was substituted for Vítor Antunes. Granadero10 made a substitution. Beniamin Madajczyk replaced Fredrik Masculier. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Hermínio Ferreira hit a great ball. Alfredinho Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niva Bellido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Granadero10's Erick Cavero was substituted for Laerte Soeiro. Romando Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Granadero10's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juninho Paulista took the corner. The corner ended in Juninho Paulista almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante did a great save. If Niva Bellido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romando Futebol Clube's Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Romando Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Iwo Kaparelis hit a great ball. Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Paulista in the 90th minute of play. Alfredinho Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Granadero10 players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Romando Futebol Clube from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
