After a rather tough play, ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Almir Dante got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's Atalay Turkay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Britto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's goalkeeper Nicolas Britto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Capibaribe Stars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atalay Turkay in the 27th minute. Nicolas Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Britto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Daniel Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capibaribe Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomás Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hartmut Propst, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Thomás Toscano was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Armando Petrosino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Armando Petrosino really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Capibaribe Stars's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
