The audience was convinced that Cüneyt Berksoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres van der Sar was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Cüneyt Berksoy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Andres van der Sar made a huge save. Andres van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Cüneyt Berksoy sent off a good shot on target. When UPTEXTIL.COM's Cüneyt Berksoy in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 36 minutes into the match, MONTANHA's goalkeeper Andres van der Sar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belchior Mamatov. In the 37th minute, Cüneyt Berksoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andres van der Sar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Andres van der Sar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cüneyt Berksoy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Afonso Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MONTANHA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Cardozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paolo Ruisko to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Cüneyt Berksoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Cüneyt Berksoy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UPTEXTIL.COM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Andres van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cüneyt Berksoy in the 57th minute of play. Afonso Cardozo came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mateus Cruz could save by the left post. Mateus Cruz made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Czeslaw Walec sent off a good shot on target. UPTEXTIL.COM's Mário Maldini was substituted for Zé Paulo Queirós. In the 70th minute, Cüneyt Berksoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. UPTEXTIL.COM's Nestor Hoffmann was substituted for Hugo do Valle. Mateus Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Walec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wei Guang Xing's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mateus Cruz firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, MONTANHA's Nilton Montenegro got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the MONTANHA defense, Cüneyt Berksoy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andres van der Sar. The MONTANHA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres van der Sar should have stopped the shot. Mateus Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wei Guang Xing in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Cüneyt Berksoy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andres van der Sar. MONTANHA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cüneyt Berksoy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After 94 minutes, Czeslaw Walec made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. UPTEXTIL.COM's Mateus Cruz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. UPTEXTIL.COM had won after a very even match.
