Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abdelbassir Cestarolli took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Abdelbassir Cestarolli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andres van der Sar. MONTANHA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdelbassir Cestarolli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Abdelbassir Cestarolli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Andres van der Sar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cestarolli FC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after MONTANHA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jefferson de Mendonça took the corner. The corner led Cestarolli FC's Jefferson de Mendonça to fire away a dangerous shot which Andres van der Sar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Andres van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelbassir Cestarolli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cestarolli FC's Ademir Cestarolli managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Benedito Trancoso in the 22 minute of the game. Andres van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelbassir Cestarolli, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Cestarolli FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ademir Cestarolli hit a great ball. Abdelbassir Cestarolli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres van der Sar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Andres van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelbassir Cestarolli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Reynaldo Cestarolli managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when MONTANHA's Afonso Cardozo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cestarolli FC's Reynaldo Cestarolli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Cestarolli FC from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Abdelbassir Cestarolli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. MONTANHA's Andres van der Sar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save MONTANHA from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute, Jefferson de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MONTANHA's Andres van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelbassir Cestarolli in the 85th minute of play. Roger Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Cestarolli FC made a substitution. Tiaguinho Cestarolli replaced Jefferson de Mendonça. Roger Guerra hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Sixto Felipo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andres van der Sar came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Cestarolli FC's Bebeto Cestarolli. But to his dismay, Bebeto Cestarolli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cestarolli FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
