Andres van der Sar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's José Augusto Araújo got a free kick in the 11th minute. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Diogo Machado put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nicolas Britto. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diogo Machado to make the kick off. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MONTANHA's goalkeeper Andres van der Sar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andres van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cody Miles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
