The crowd rose to their feet as ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Marco Ruben slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgar Trigo. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. In the 27th match minute, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Quadros to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Trigo made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Marco Ruben sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Barrenta SC's Valdemar Cabral got a free kick in the 30th minute. Edgar Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Ruben in the 31st minute. Ederono Vilardell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nariman Mansourian in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Stenman in the 36th minute of play forced ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's goalkeeper Ederono Vilardell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Ruben's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Trigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Marco Ruben made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ booed when Barrenta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilmar da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Marco Ruben got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Ruben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Ruben in the 57th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Edgar Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Ruben in the 61st minute of play. Ederono Vilardell was a little too slow when Nariman Mansourian got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 2-1. Barrenta SC made a substitution. Genílson Leite replaced Urban Stenman. Barrenta SC's Edgar Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Ruben in the 69th minute of play. Álvaro Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
