With a little luck, A.A. Francana's Renan Melo got control of the ball when Edgard Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgard Batista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renan Melo having to make a save. In the 14thth minute of the game Edgard Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Renan Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, A.A. Francana's Renan Melo got control of the ball when Edgard Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgard Batistas short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Renan Melo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 23 minutes of play, A.A. Francana's Roman Koenig made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredinho Carneiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Renan Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredinho Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Boström in the 29th minute of play. Edgard Batista in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Renan Melo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 34 minutes into the game, Ruben Casado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Renan Melo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 41 minutes A.A. Francana's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ioan Cocârlă who took care of the corner kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Batista was the one to do the kick off. Alfredinho Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Boström, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Batista in the 61st minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Edgard Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Renan Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Colognese FC booed when A.A. Francana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Paulo Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Secco went to the cornerflag to take it. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colognese FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Francisco Secco was slow to take the kick. During this time A.A. Francana's players had a chance to rest. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. A.A. Francana walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
