The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cícero da Costa in the 5th minute of play forced Internazionale-RS's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Augusto Alves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Melquiades Amor made a huge save. Karl-Erik Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero da Costa in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Robert Bambas hit a great ball. Pedro Augusto Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Melquiades Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norbert Sroki kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Melquiades Amor made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Pedro Augusto Alves sent off a good shot on target. Karl-Erik Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Dantas in the 21st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Cícero da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Cícero da Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Erik Hellström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Erik Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Internazionale-RS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arí Machado was slow to take the kick. During this time CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's players had a chance to rest. The CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Felippe Paranaense looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Internazionale-RS's Karl-Erik Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Paranaense in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Augusto Alves. In the 35thth minute of the game Pedro Augusto Alves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Sroki to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Pedro Augusto Alves put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Melquiades Amor. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ardwyad Vulcan hit a great ball. Internazionale-RS's Wang Ting Hong couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA. If Pedro Augusto Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Augusto Alves came free, but Melquiades Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Cícero da Costa made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arí Machado got free with Karl-Erik Hellström in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wang Ting Hong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Amor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. The throw-in from Robert Bambas in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Internazionale-RS's Wang Ting Hong. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Internazionale-RS:s goal. Melquiades Amor went to the wrong direction when Batiste Carrez was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 67thth minute of the game Pedro Augusto Alves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Internazionale-RS's Moisés Cordeiro was substituted for Dany-Adams De Scheper. Internazionale-RS made a substitution. Oskars Nīkulis replaced Caco Borges. Robert Bambas made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Internazionale-RS's Wang Ting Hong. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Alves in the 76th minute of play. Internazionale-RS's Karl-Erik Hellström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Internazionale-RS from getting a goal against them. In the 86th match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Guerrero to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Lynch, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Cícero da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Robert Bambas in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Internazionale-RS's Pedro Augusto Alves.
